About Me

I was born in Tennessee, but spent the majority of my life in Fayetteville, North Carolina.   I graduated from Meredith College with a  Bachelor  of Arts degree in Psychology.   I also  minored in Spanish  and acquired  my  K-6 Licensure.

I love to travel.  I have been to Trinidad, Tobago, Haiti, Costa Rica, and Belize.  I also love to  paint and craft, read, and spend time with friends and family.  My favorite places to vacation are the lake and the beach.  

 I have wanted to teach since I was in 2nd grade, so it was exciting to start my career in the grade that I decided I wanted to be a teacher!  After the last two years in 2nd grade, I am excited for the challenge of first grade and preparing them to be the best second graders ever!
